How it works

Three steps from first call to zero balance

You see every detail before you create an account. Nothing here is hidden behind a login.

  1. Free debt review

Tell us what you owe and to whom. Nova, our AI settlement agent, or a specialist reviews your accounts and tells you plainly which debts we can take on.

  2. We negotiate and pay the settlement

We work directly with your creditors to settle each account. Smart Loan Relief pays the agreed settlement amount to the creditor. You do not fund the settlement.

  3. You pay 35% once it is cleared

When a debt shows a zero balance, you pay our success fee of 35% of that enrolled debt. If we do not settle it, you owe us nothing for it.

Debt settlement vs. debt consolidation

Consolidation rolls your balances into one new loan that you still repay in full. Settlement resolves the debt itself, so there is no new loan to carry.

Questions

Straight answers

How much does Smart Loan Relief cost?

One success fee of 35% of the debt you enroll. There are no enrollment fees, monthly fees, or cancellation fees. If you enroll $20,000 and we clear it, your fee is $7,000.

When do I pay the fee?

Only after an enrolled debt has been settled and its balance is zero. We do not collect any fee before that. This is written into your client agreement.

Who pays my creditors?

We do. Smart Loan Relief negotiates the settlement and pays the agreed amount to the creditor. You do not send settlement money to the bank.

Will this affect my credit?

It can. Settled accounts are typically reported as settled for less than the full balance, and any missed payments before settlement may lower your score. Creditors may also continue collection activity until an account is resolved.

Are there tax consequences?

Forgiven debt can be treated as taxable income by the IRS. We do not give tax advice, so please speak with a tax professional about your situation.

What if a debt cannot be settled?

You owe no fee for that debt. We charge only for debts we actually clear.

Is my information safe?

Your details are used only to review your request and to service your account. We do not sell your personal information.
